Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) – QPAT1 Asssessment
What to wear? For all tasks, applicants are required to wear a sleeved shirt and long pants or overalls and covered shoes appropriate for exercise. Protective helmets will be provided. Gloves can be used, but are not provided.
What not to wear? Given the activities you will be required to undertake, lycra/leggings, shorts and skirts are not appropriate and cannot be worn. Shirts must have sleeves, singlets and small capped sleeves are not acceptable. Watches and all types of jewellery are not to be worn. Please also be mindful of your footwear i.e. light mesh style shoes do not provide enough protection and cannot be worn.
QFES has WH&S obligations and anyone identified as being inappropriately attired for the QPAT1 will not be permitted to participate.
Things to keep in mind.
You are required to show your Driver Licence and completed form/s at Registration.
Please note - This booking is for you only - there is no capacity for you to bring other people to view or participate in the session. The site is an operational workplace - please do not bring children or pets.
Please bring your own water bottle. Filtered water is available for refilling. Please ensure you are properly hydrated.
You will be required to complete an up to date PAR-Q form on the day of the assessment. If your health changes before or on the day of the assessment, you will need to advise QFES Recruitment immediately.
NO LICENCE - NO ASSESSMENT, INCORRECT CLOTHING - NO ASSESSMENT.
