Is someone in your family or a friend using alcohol and/or other drugs?
Are you looking for practical, down-to-earth support and information?

Join us for a free, 2-hour online Stepping Forward workshop designed especially for families and friends impacted by someone’s substance use.

Our upcoming session will focus on:

🗣️ Effective Communication
Clear, compassionate communication can ease tension, reduce misunderstandings, and help families feel more connected — even during challenging times.

We’ll explore:
🔹 Essentials of communication – what helps, what hinders
🔹 What works and what doesn’t – common traps and ways to avoid them
🔹 Practical strategies – to help you express yourself calmly and confidently

Delivered by Family Drug Support – a national, non-religious, not-for-profit organisation providing support to families for over 25 years.

Each Stepping Forward session is practical, supportive, and informative. Whether it’s your first session or you’ve attended before, you’ll take away something useful to help you on your journey.
