Family Drug Support’s Stepping Forward program offers clear, practical information and strategies to help increase your confidence and competence in navigating alcohol and other drug issues.

This two-hour session provides:
Down-to-earth, practical information
A safe space to connect and feel supported
Tools you can start using straight away

Session focus: Families – Stages of Change
We’ll explore:
• Understanding why people use alcohol and other drugs
• The Stages of Behaviour Change for people using substances
• The reality of lapse and relapse
• Practical strategies to support someone using substances
• The Stages of Change for families
• Ways to cope and stay grounded
• Balancing self-care while remaining supportive and caring 💙

Each Stepping Forward session is designed so you leave with something useful to support your journey.
Everyone is welcome — attend one session or as many as you like.
