QLD IMRt CIWG | Maintenance QA
Event Information
Description
IMRt CIWG | Maintenance QA
Hosted by: To Be Advised
In this CIWG we will be looking at what role quality plays in the ever increasing complex world of maintenance. As increasing global competition places pressure on margin, one area that comes under further scrutiny is maintenance costs.
Whilst rework, and break downs due to poor craftsmanship or mistakes are obvious sources for waste and costs we to also look more deeply for issue such as; poorly written work orders, "cheap" spares, old or poorly maintained tools, and so forth. These all contribute to poor quality in maintenance.
We would also like to discuss on the day:
- What does good quality in maintenance look like?
- Where or what are the sources of poor quality?
- How do we measure and monitor maintenance quality?
- What quality improvement programs do members have running?
