Tai chi is a safe exercise system for people of all ages and fitness levels. Done properly, without any over-stretching, Tai chi should not leave a person feeling tired or sore.

Many people find that Tai chi boosts their energy, stamina, and agility, sharpens their reflexes, and gives an overall sense of well-being. Tai Chi, although a martial art. Tai chi has both physical and mental benefits.

Tai chi is a practical aid, not a religion. Tai chi is an ancient art based on a harmonizing system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. The continued practice of Tai chi will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being and also a feeling of being at one with their environment.

If done regularly, it improves muscle tone, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Many older people find that it boosts their energy, stamina, and agility, sharpens their reflexes, and gives an overall sense of well-being.

The class meets weekly on Thursdays from 5.45pm to 6.45pm, starting in February 2018.

Please note: The first session is free and you only need to register once.

Please observe the scenario below:

Anne registers and pays for a 10-week term of Tai chi. Anne has been on holidays and returns to start in the 3rd week of a 10-week term. Meaning, Anne has missed 2 sessions of a total of 10. Anne will, therefore, attend the remaining 8 sessions of Tai chi, but in addition, will participate in an additional 2 sessions of another program of her choosing during a different time slot and/or location to make up the total of 10 sessions.

Anne can do this at another location across the Tundeworld or even in a different program is like Qigong. Anne has emailed the Tundeworld staff to confirm which make up sessions she will attend before doing so Tundeworld staff have informed the instructor ahead of time.

  • You only need to register once to be able to attend the classes.

  • Please Print off this Form , complete it and take it with you at the first time when you come to the class.

  • If you are unable to attend a class, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the event.

  • If you are unable to attend a class, your ticket may be cancelled by the organiser.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

  • Patrons who fail to comply with the Terms and Conditions set out above will have their tickets cancelled.
