About this Event

IF YOU WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT IT’S LIKE BEING IN THE TEACH FOR AUSTRALIA PROGRAM

On August 13th at 7pm (AEST) we will have a national Teach for Australia Alumni Q&A webinar.

Meet four of our TFA alumni, who will happily answer any questions you have on being a part of the TFA program. We will have a wide mix of alumni who represent: relocators, STEM graduates, career changers, regional/remote teachers, and metro teachers. This is a great chance to hear firsthand the impact you can have in the classroom, the leadership skills you develop, and the options you have for after the program.

Bernadette was a member of Cohort 2017. Bernadette graduated from the University of Queensland with degrees in Science and Maths, before working as a journalist and producer with ABC radio in Brisbane. Following this, Bernadette joined TFA, teaching Physics and Maths at Seymour College in Victoria's north, where she remains.

Reid Barry

She is now a Learning Specialist at Elevation College. Sonia is the founder of Boundless, an organisation dedicated to assisting students from disadvantaged areas get access to challenging work experience opportunities. She has also received a Masters in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University.
