Q&A session - Multicultural Infrastructure and Security Program (MISP)
Overview
Welcome to the 2025-26 Multicultural Infrastructure and Security Program (MISP) Q&A session.
The objective of the Multicultural Infrastructure and Security Program (MISP) is to support Victoria’s multicultural and multifaith community organisations to maintain and upgrade their community facilities and create a safe and secure place to celebrate and share their history and traditions.
The new 2025-26 Multicultural Infrastructure and Security Program (MISP) is open for applications. The program provides grants of up to $400,000 for:
• maintenance works
• renovations
• security upgrades.
Applications opened on Monday 13 October 2025 and will close at 3pm on Monday 5 January 2026.
The following groups and projects will be prioritised in the MISP program (by receiving extra points in the merit assessment process and having reduced matched funding requirements):
• regional based projects
• new and emerging communities
• organisations that have not previously received multicultural grant funding from the department.
Organisations who meet priority group eligibility are encouraged to apply for funding, and to engage with our team for support during the application process.
Before applying, please ensure you have read the program guidelines carefully, particularly the sections outlining organisation and project eligibility criteria at : https://www.vic.gov.au/2025-26-multicultural-infrastructure-and-security-program
The information session will cover key points to help you prepare a strong application, and organisations are encouraged to register for one of the two sessions. Q&A sessions are informal and drop-in style, with multiple dates and times available for those who have questions or need more details.
