SKILL workshop 2: making your plan

About this Event

This workshop is part of a series of 6 capacity releasing workshops being run by JFA Purple Orange in Nuriootpa during October, November and December 2020. These workshops are for people living with disability, family members and allies. These events are free.

Workshop 2: making your plan explores the concept of making a plan and setting goals and how this is part of achieving your best life and a way of communicating what you want to the funder (NDIS) and your allies and supporters. It will give you strategies to use to identify goals and set your own adventure. The workshop will also equip you with skills to navigate systems constructively and develop self-advocacy skills to ensure you remain in control.

The workshops have been co-designed by people living with disability for people living with disability. The facilitators of the workshop are Jennifer Job and Cherie Rowett from Life Upcycled.

Please note by registering for this event you agree to adhere to all Co-vid 19 infection control protocols on the day.

Workshop 1 runs on the day before 7th October 2020.

Workshop 3 will run on Wednesday 11 November.
