For one day only, Sugar Republic's Bloomville is open to dogs!
It's the perfect opportunity to create cute photos with your puppy while exploring our immersive installations and photo-worthy backdrops.
Bloomville is an indoor-outdoor journey through rainbow-coloured spaces filled with immersive installations and fun photo moments including:
- a confetti shower
- scratch ’n’ sniff flower wall
- pink ping pong
- a topsy turvy flower power bedroom
- sparkly swings
- cherry blossom installation
- sunshine and rainy rooms
- teddy bear wall
and much more.
Whatever your age, there’s plenty to make you smile.
Co-hosted by Woodlea Estate in Melbourne’s West, the fun takes place in a series of colourful shipping containers in a grassy park. Wander, explore, and take lots of photos.
Make a day of it! Alongside Bloomville there are some of the best playgrounds in Melbourne to explore, and an array of food and drink options from Woodlea Town.
With tickets at just $5, this is a blooming perfect little treat!
100% of ticket sales will be donated to Lort Smith Animal Hospital.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING :
This event is only for people accompanying dogs, not the general public.
Dogs must be comfortable in social situations to attend this event, and must be kept on a lead at all times between photos.
You or your children must not approach dogs without the owner's consent.
Don't forget to bring your poop bags!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET IN?
$5 for each human and $5 for each dog.
There is also an Eventbrite fee for processing your order, calculated at checkout.
HOW DO I GET A TICKET?
Please book online to secure your preferred date and session time, as popular session times will sell out. Once this is completed you'll receive an email from Eventbrite with your tickets.
HOW LONG WILL MY VISIT TAKE?
We recommend allowing around 30 minutes for Bloomville, although you may stay up to an hour with your ticket. Don’t forget to allow time to explore the other activities at Woodlea!
WILL THERE BE LOTS OF DOGS?
We are allowing a limited number of humans and dogs into this event. It is held in a large space over two floors. Owners are responsible for ensuring that their pet is well-behaved and under their control. Dogs who exhibit aggressive behaviour to other dogs or humans will be asked to leave.
ARE KIDS ALLOWED?
Kids are allowed at this event but please be aware that it is a special day for dogs, and children will need to walk around calmly and not create noise or activity that may cause anxiety or excitement for the dogs, nor should they approach dogs without the owner's consent. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult with their own ticket.
WILL THERE BE DOGS TO PLAY WITH?
No! The event is for humans to bring in their dogs and take photos with them. You must not interact with dogs other than your own without the consent of the dog's owner.
HOW DO I FIND BLOOMVILLE?
We’re at Woodlea estate, 30 minutes drive west of Melbourne CBD and close to Rockbank train station. There is ample parking on site. For detailed directions please click here.
IS IT A NON-PROFIT EVENT?
Yes! 100% of net ticket sales will be donated by Sugar Republic and Woodlea to Lort Smith Animal Hospital.
IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED?
Personal photography and video is most definitely encouraged, the more the merrier! Please note that tripods, lighting and large photo equipment are not permitted.
Product/commercial photo shoots are strictly NOT allowed, unless by prior agreement. Please do not bring your products to shoot at a Sugar Republic event without permission as you may be asked to leave. Please email hello@sugarrepublic.com.au to arrange a commercial shoot booking.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM SUGAR REPUBLIC?
Bloomville is created by the Sugar Republic team. Think of it as a mini version of Sugar Republic with a completely new theme - plus it is our first outdoor event!
CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY BOOKING?
Bookings for Puppy Day are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bring your phone and your sweet self. Sunscreen and water if it’s a sunny day.
Also poop bags, some doggy snacks and any props for your photos.
Please do not bring human food, large bags or bulky items as they are not allowed in the event and we don’t have storage.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
With the exception of Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs, pets are (sadly) not allowed, however we do plan to hold an open day for doggos, watch this space!
IS THE EVENT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
The Bloomville experience is accessible by wheelchair but please note the containers featuring most of the installations do not have entry ramps so these are not accessible.
CAN I BRING A PRAM?
Prams cannot enter the container installations due to space limitations. They may be left in the entrance area at your own risk.
IS THERE CONCESSIONARY AND COMPANION PRICING?
We don’t have any concessionary pricing. Holders of a Companion Card may bring a companion in at no charge (the card holder must purchase a ticket).
IS THERE A BATHROOM?
There are public toilets close by at Woodlea Town Centre.
IS IT GOING TO BE AMAZING?
You have no idea!
THIS IS A COVID-19 SAFE EVENT
The wellbeing of our staff and visitors is our top priority. Visitors must follow current Victorian Public Health Orders and observe COVID Safe practices when attending.
LIMITED VISITORS
Visitor numbers are capped in the indoor spaces, and bookings are required to enter.
VACCINATION
All of our team members are fully vaccinated.
You will need to show proof that you have received TWO doses of a COVID-19 vaccine OR that you hold a certified medical exemption to enter the event. Children under 12 who have not been vaccinated may enter when accompanied by a fully vaccinated household member.
CLEANING
Bloomville surfaces are cleaned regularly throughout the day.
HAND HYGIENE
There are sanitising stations throughout the experience.
MASKS
We recommend wearing a mask at all times, which you may briefly remove to have your photo taken. It is a requirement to wear masks inside the containers and when you cannot socially distance.
