Event Information

Public Planetarium Session - Macquarie Planetarium

E7B Courtyard, Macquarie Park, NSW

Event Description

Tickets available until 4.30 PM on the day of the event.

Session will run from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

The planetarium simulates the night sky exactly as it appears from Sydney, including special events such as the transit of Venus or an eclipse of the Sun. Come and be amazed by an up-close look at the motions of celestial objects, the surfaces of planets, deep sky objects, constellations and much more! You can take a tour of the local Solar System, peer into the depths of the galaxy, or watch amazing new planetarium movies.

Parking is available at the parking lot on Gymnasium Road.  You must get a parking ticket, which are free for 2 hours.  You can find E7B on our campus map.  The courtyard is the large area in the centre of the building (indoors)... you can't miss it!

Email us at starinfo@mq.edu.au for questions or concerns.

Please arrive 10 minutes early!

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for the planetarium. Please contact us the day before the event if you would like to change sessions.
