Description

Inclusion Health: Integrated Care for Homeless

Dr Hewett leads a research collaborative which is publishing a review of the international literature on practical responses to the complex needs of homeless people. He will present the latest evidence on "what works for Inclusion Health".

About Dr Nigel Hewett

An expert in homeless healthcare for over 25 years, Nigel has been working with Pathway since its inception. Nigel has unparalleled experience, founding Leicester Single Homeless multi-disciplinary team and opening one of England’s busiest homelessness teams at UCLH. He was awarded an OBE for his work in 2006. Nigel now focuses on training and supporting doctors, in his role as Secretary to the Faculty of Homeless and Inclusion Health, and Medical Director of Pathway.

Pathway is the UK’s leading homeless healthcare charity, operating with a model of integrated care within NHS services. Dr Hewett’s appearance in Perth is part of a Raine Medical Research Foundation Cockell Research Collaboration Award.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Platform is located on Level 3, 256 Adelaide Terrace in the Perth CBD (near corner of Victoria Avenue, next to Dome Cafe).

- Driving: There are a number of nearby parking lots. Here are a few options:

Wilson's Car Parks: Located at 393 Hay St, East Perth and 467 Hay St, East Perth.

City of Perth Car Parks: Located at 262 Hay St, East Perth and 1 Murray St, Perth.

- Bus: The nearest bus stops are located on St Georges Tce Before/After Victoria Ave. This is a major bus interchange with a number of different buses stopping here.

If you are travelling within the Perth CBD there is also the free Red CAT bus, which stops nearby on the corner of Hay St and Victoria Avenue.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable? What is the refund policy?

If, after booking, you are unable to attend, you are welcome to nominate someone else to attend in your place at no additional cost. Please advise substitutions to csi-events-business@uwa.edu.au with full name and email address of the new attendee.

How can I pay?

Payments can only be taken through Eventbrite using credit card.

Do I need to provide proof for concession tickets?

Yes. You will be asked for details of your concession card during the registration process (including full-time student, pensioner, Veteran's Affairs, or Health Care Card).

Can I get a tax invoice?

Yes, the tax invoice will be sent in the confirmation email direct from Eventbrite. Please retain this for your records.

Why am I being asked for a Tax ID?

If you are registering as an individual or unregistered business and do not have a Tax ID (ABN) please ensure you have selected 'Individual' in the drop-down list of the registration form.
