Event description

Description

Around the world, women’s businesses tend to be smaller and less global facing than men’s – yet highly impactful in terms of generating household and social outcomes.

This event is an opportunity to hear about cross-cultural research on women’s entrepreneurship in Sarawak and Victoria, and discuss how to improve the ecosystem for enterprising women locally.

We invite enterprise support professionals, entrepreneurs, students and researchers interested in women’s entrepreneurship and social impact to join us for an insightful evening, imagining a future where enterprising women are enabled to create new solutions.

We will be hosting a delegation from Swinburne University Sarawak and exploring how to create more opportunities for enterprising women in Victoria.

This event is supported by the Centre for Social Impact Swinburne, the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship at Swinburne University, Good Shepherd Microfinance and the Australia-ASEAN Council, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
