Brodie Cambourne as an Exercise Physiologist for 25 years and during this time developed an interest working with participants experiencing PTSD , depression and /or anxiety after having lived experience with PTSD
Brodie has been using exercise as a mode of treatment to assist participants with mental health needs for over 15 years, and during this time has been able to create a low anxiety approach to exercise prescription.
Brodie is also part of a health professional network that is passionate about the combination of movement and nutrition lifestyle modification as a holistic approach to assisting participants with mental health needs.
This sessions will include the following discussion points:
1) Benefits of movement and nutrition lifestyle modification
2) Barriers to movement and nutrition lifestyle modification
3) Evidenced based research into movement and nutrition lifestyle modification and brain health
4) Local Shoalhaven Services assisting with movement and nutrition lifestyle modification
