Description
This training unpacks the framework and theory for providing Psychological First Aid as well as an evidence-based framework (MANERS) that can be used as a part of Critical Incident Response (CIR). This practical workshop will also look at some common barriers to assertive communication within the context of providing support during a critical incident.

What are my transport/ parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking: There is local parking available in Turner St, Sackville St and Easey St; alternative parking is available off Lulie St (on the eastern side of the Railway line off Johnston St), adjacent to Victoria Park stadium. Please be aware of clearway zones during certain times of the day.
Public transport: We are a five minute walk from Victoria Park station (South Morang, Hurtbridge and Greensborough lines). Our office is also accessible from bus routes on Hoddle St (towards Richmond or Clifton Hill) and Johnston St (towards City/ Lonsdale St or Kew)

Cancellation Policy?
- 14 days notice or more: no penalty
- 8 – 13 days notice: 25% of total training fee
- 3 – 7 days notice: 50% of total training fee
- 48 hours notice or less: 100% of total training fee
