Feedback is one of the most important processes in teaching and learning. Giving feedback is not only something that teachers do but a process of interaction between teachers and students.
Feedback communicates teachers’ perception of student's understanding and performance in a task. Yet, to be effective it needs to be received by students in a way that facilitates their learning. Thus, meaningful feedback should be the ones that students understand and can utilize it for their learning. In that sense, feedback becomes an important tool to develop active learning in students.
This workshop will focus on how teachers can, in different types of assessments and learning activities, provide feedback in a way that simulates the process of active learning in students.
