Protecting children from harm is a shared responsibility for the family, the community and professionals. This workshop is for Dads of children between the ages of 0 - 13.

The Protective Behaviours program empowers children and educates parents and carers of young children to identify unsafe and risky behaviours and provides strategies to help them to become safe again. Learn personal safety skills and strategies so you can empower your children and keep them safe from abuse.

  • Context of Australian Child Abuse Statistics

  • Child Protection - Child Abuse - types, physical, emotional, psychological, neglect and Domestic Violence

  • The Grooming Process - identify the signs

  • Recent evidence and findings from the Royal Commission and WA School requirements

  • The Protective Behaviour Program
