Protecting Children: Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations for Early and Middle Childhood Services
Early and middle childhood educators play an important role in protecting children. CCC is committed to increasing service’s capacity to effectively support and respond to children whose safety, health or wellbeing may be at risk. To help educator’s understand and execute their responsibilities to protect children, we are offering the Protecting Children: Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations for Early and Middle Childhood Services Information session.
The session will address a range of new requirements in Victoria, to strengthen the protection of children and build on the content from the Department’s eLearning Module on mandatory reporting available at http://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/careers/Pages/scholarships.aspx#protect . This session is designed for licensed and approved education and care services operating under the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 or the Children’s Services Act 1996.
