Prophetic Voice to Rulers: Christians & Modern Slavery - Jacob Sarkodee
Event Information
About this Event
Is there any good news about the injustice that is modern slavery today?
There is a growing awakening in our communities about the urgency to end slavery, but few have ever met a survivor of slavery or know what solutions actually work to free people from this illicit profitable enterpise.
You will hear from the front lines of this fight and see how how God is raising up a global community of believers (that's you too!) who fervently pray and make every day decisions as a prophetic witness to rulers and governments; that they would protect the vulnerable, end criminal impunity and let justice reign.
CONTENT WARNING: This session will involve hearing true stories from survivors of modern slavery. This could include those who are survivors of sex trafficking, online sexual exploitation, forced labour and violence against women and children. Some people may find the content triggering or distressing. Participants are encouraged to practice self care during and after the event.
