Event description

Description

Join us in The Grounds Atrium for a hands-on workshop as our very own horticulturist shares his knowledge and tips on propagation.

During this one hour workshop, resident horticulturist, Greg Bush, will introduce different plants to propagate, guide you through a step by step demonstration of cutting and potting your own plants, and share his tips & tricks for sustaining growth of your new plants.

In this class you will learn:

  • How to prepare a working environment and which tools are required

  • How to identify softwood and semi-hardwood plants

  • How to effectively stem cut a selected plant

  • How to pot a stem cutting

  • How to pot up your rooted cutting to the next stage

You will take home:

  • A pamphlet filled with the information from the masterclass

  • Your new propagated plants, created during the workshop

Prices include tuition from The Grounds horticulturist, all tools and equipment for use during the class, your propagated plants to take home and glass of wine on arrival.

Please note:

  • There is no experience necessary, the only thing you need to bring is a love for plants!

  • There are a limited quantity of tickets available for each class. If you cannot make the event please provide a minimum of 48 hours notice as refunds and rescheduling will not be available after that time

  • This event starts at 6:30pm sharp and will take place in The Atrium (located behind the florist and The Potting Shed).
