Description

The Office of the Public Advocate invites you to explore ACP from a human rights and legal perspective. Topics include:

  • Medical treatment decision making and the role of a substitute decision maker

  • ACP for when the person lacks capacity

  • ACP and legal considerations

Participants will receive a copy of A clinician’s guide to medical decision making – for when the person lacks capacity and A medical treatment decision maker’s guide – for when the person lacks capacity; two new resources developed in partnership with Northern Health and funded by DHHS.
