Then this FREE 1/2 day workshop is for you!
The City of Parramatta's Community Capacity Building Team run these free short workshops for community-based workers & volunteers to become familiar with the basics of project planning, monitoring and evaluation. The content is built on the Results-Based Management (Outcomes) framework. Methodology, tips and tools will be covered, and specifically in relation to community-based projects for a variety of social good outcomes.
If you wish to attend a workshop that focuses on Outcomes (identification and indicators), further dedicated workshops will be offered on this in September/October 2022 (Information available here). We are also offering a 3 part workshop series on building skills for collaboration in August, with details found here: "Skills for Collaboration Workshop Series".
Two workshop dates are available - One in-person & one online. You need to register for ONE workshop only. Further details are provided below.

COVID-19: Care is being taken with hygiene and social distancing with the delivery of the face-to-face workshop. Participants will be expected to follow good hygiene practices, and hand sanitiser as well has handwashing facilities will be available.
Please Note - Registration Terms & Conditions: Council implements a policy where people who have booked workshop tickets, and do not show up or confirm attendance when requested, may not be able to secure a confirmed place at future workshops. Spaces are very limited - should your circumstances change after a booking a ticket and you are no longer able to attend, please ENSURE YOU INFORM the convenor via the contact on this page or CANCEL your ticket via Eventbrite.

Time: 9:30am - 1:00PM (Workshop begins 9:30am sharp)
Zoom link to be emailed the week before in a meeting invitation from the Convenor.
Holiday Inn Directions/Parking: Google Maps Link - the venue for the in-person workshop is a short walk (5-10mins) from Parramatta Transport Interchange, and is an accessible venue. Paid Parking is available at the hotel and the nearby Wentworth Street Carpark, though public transport is advised where possible. Parking at Westfield is not advised due to time restrictions for free parking and the afternoon tea break being too short to re-park.
Ticket Limitations: One booking per person is allowed - please be sure to include the information of the person attending the workshop. These workshops are for community workers and volunteers of non-profit organisations/networks only.
