Register and attend this 1-day course to create an efficient scope and sequence and program for the new Science Extension syllabus through this hands-on workshop.



Programming and the Scientific Research Project for Science Extension (Shire)

This course is designed to help teachers create an organised and well scaffolded scope and sequence and program with particular emphasis on the Scientific Research Project. Participants will be invited to modify and improve their existing teaching resources or develop new ones from scratch based on best practice.

The course aims to address the following aspects of programming:

• Order of modules
• Opportunities to combine modules
• Data analysis
• Assessments
• Scientific Research Project

• Resources

Completing Programming and the Scientific Research Project for Science Extension on 1 November 2019 will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 1.2.2, 1.5.2, 2.1.2 and 6.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
