About this event

PSD Initial Training (previously referred to as Beginners or Basics training) is aimed at school based staff who are unfamiliar with, or need a refresher for, the Program for Students with Disabilities (PSD) application process and inclusion resources.

Content of the session will focus on creating an application to the PSD including eligibility criteria, required evidence and assessments, referral pathways for asssessment and navigation of the program for students with disabilities management system (PSDMS). A range of inclusion resources and policies are also shared.

The content is specifically aimed at school based staff who are new to the PSD co ordinator role. This training is a once off pre requisite for someone intending to complete DET Nominee training at any time in the future.
