About this Event

All around the world, countries are being confronted with the challenge of creating sustainable healthcare as their systems are being simultaneously manipulated by two irresistible forces - the escalating demands of ageing populations with multimorbid disease and the increasing costs of new technologies. Without a change of approach, the scandal of health inequality will only continue to worsen. In this lecture, Professor Sir Robert Lechler will discuss how it is possible to achieve affordable health gain while capitalising on the biomedical and health science revolution.
