PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR

What is Love? Teaching Teenagers About Relationships.

What are teenagers really looking for in relationships? How can we present the Catholic Church's teaching in the most positive and compelling way? How do we help young people seek relationships that will fulfill them?

Jason Evert has proven to be one of the foremost communicators with youth in the Catholic Church today. In this seminar he will explain how he engages teenagers with a positive and attractive vision of relationships and how Catholic educators can do the same.

WHEN: 3.30-5.00pm, Thursday 22nd March

WHERE: Nazareth College, Manning Dr, Noble Park North

COST: $55 (incl. GST) for professionals / those attending in a work capacity (e.g. teachers, priests, youth ministry workers)
$20 for non-professionals (e.g. parents, students, youth ministry volunteers)

WHO IS IT FOR?
Catholic Religious Education Teachers, Health and Human Development Teachers and anyone involved in Catholic Education. Also welcome are parents, priests and anyone involved in youth ministry.

Accredited by Catholic Education Melbourne.Attendance at this seminar will provide 1.5 hours of Accreditation.

About Jason Evert:

Jason Evert has spoken to more than one million people about the virtue of chastity. He has been a keynote speaker at five World Youth Days and the Australian Catholic Youth Festival. He is the best-selling author of more than ten books, including “Theology of the Body for Teens” and “How to Find Your Soulmate Without Losing Your Soul.” He has a masters degree in theology, as well as undergraduate degrees in counselling and theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is a frequent guest on radio and television programs and has appeared on the BBC, MSNBC, Fox and EWTN. Jason and his wife Chrystalina live in Denver with the children.
