Media coverage is an extremely valuable tool for getting your message across to a large audience, but first you need to make sure that your message gets to the media. This workshop will focus on how to convey a lot of information in a concise and engaging way, and the best approaches for different types of media.
About Tiana Templeman
Tiana Templeman is an award-winning freelance travel journalist, Brisbane author, academic and tutor at Queensland University of Technology. She is an experienced corporate trainer and has developed and delivered ‘Working with the Media’ courses for Tourism & Events Queensland and media writing training for Australia’s leading writers’ centres and corporate organisations. Tiana contributes to a diverse range of publications from The Australian to Cruise Critic, the NZ Herald and QANTAS Travel Insider. She holds a Master of Creative Industries and has recently completed a PhD on ‘Freelance Journalism in the 21st Century’.
