Cycling Training Camp - Sunshine Coast - train, eat and recover like a pro

About this Event

The Pro Training Camp is your opportunity to focus on your passion. For a weekend, take the opportunity to eat, sleep, and train like a full-time athlete.

Being at the camp is like being a pro, but without the pressure. Your bike will be cleaned and tuned daily. You’ll have access to nutrition products and head out for great workouts with the former pro rider and a leading cycling coach Jakub Novak.

Throughout the day, our support vehicle will supply everything you could need, and no matter what your fitness level we’ll make sure your challenged but never overwhelmed. When you’re off the bike, enjoy nutrient-packed meals, stories with new friends, and instruction through a coach. You’ll have the opportunity to rest and recover and truly focus on making sport your top priority for a little while.

Goal of the training camp is for participants to have an excellent experience cycling while improving both technical skills and physical fitness. You'll have an opportunity to deepen understanding of professional cycling on highest level while having full support from a mechanic, former pro tour rider and a leading cycling coach.



Who can participate ?
 Intermediate cyclists (A-C Grade Riders). Contact us if you are unsure what is your cycling level.

What's included:

* Fully supported rides with support car with bicycle mechanic

* Support rider, former BMC Pro Tour rider


* 2 Yoga Sessions with a qualified instructor

* 1 hour Sports Massage Therapy with qualified masseuse

* 1-on-1 consultation with a leading cycling coach and former teammate of Cadel Evans


* Bicycle mechanic providing full servicing of bikes


* On road descending and climbing skill sessions


* Training program & Interval workouts inspired by World Tour practices

* Supplements for training riders and recovery included


* Meals and supplements included - 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 3 dinners (dining in a restaurant)

PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE:

Thursday

1400 starts checkin

1500-1600 optional easy roll

1600-1800 mechanic checking bikes, cleaning and prepare them for the camp

1930 all riders meeting at the house

1930-2130 go out together for restaurant

Friday

0630 yoga exercise with instructor

0730 breakfast at the villa

0900 meeting at bikes and go through scheduled training

0915 start training ( 4-6h ride )

1400-1500 come back to hotel. recovery food after training

1530 lunch at the villa

1600-1900 1-on-1 consultation with coach & recovery at the villa

1600-1900 professional sports massage therapy

1600-1900 mechanic double checking bikes

1800-1900 stretching and mindful exercises

1930 go out to the restaurant

SATURDAY

0630 yoga exercise with instructor

0730 breakfast at the villa

0900 meeting at bikes and go through scheduled training

0915 start training ( 4-6h ride )

1400-1500 come back to hotel. recovery food after training

1530 lunch at the villa

1600-1900 1-on-1 consultation with coach & recovery at the villa

1600-1900 professional sports massage therapy

SUNDAY

0600 breakfast at villa
