Description
Do you want to give your child the best head start he or she can get in managing and coping with adversity? Our workshop programs are designed to give children the skills needed to overcome obstacles and truly prosper from the full range of experiences life has to offer.
Hosted in our office in West End in a cozy setting by Natalia Morozoff (M.Education., Dip.Counselling, Dip.C.Hypnosis, NLP, Energy Psychotherapy & blue-card holder), this workshop has been created in line with Natalia’s extensive experience in these fields.
This small group WORKSHOP-1 is for all ages of primary school children. Our focus is to help build psychological resilience and emotional intelligence to cope with ups and downs, and bounce back from challenges, to help children to develop their skills and habits that will help them deal with challenges during adolescence and adulthood.
PSYCHOLOGICAL RESILIENCE is never ever giving up! It’s your child’s ability to successfully adapt to life tasks in the face of social disadvantage or highly adverse conditions. Adversity and stress can come in the shape of school, family problems, health or relationship issues. The ability to bounce back from a negative experience with competent functioning can be learned and developed by anyone at any age. Learning Psychological Resilience is a process of individuation through a structured system with the gradual discovery of your unique, personal abilities. Benefits: Optimistic attitude, positive emotionality, adaptation after a stressful or adverse situation, overcoming obstacles, not giving up and achieving your goals, becoming a better person, and being happier.
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE is a range of abilities. For eg., Self-Awareness: knowing what we’re feeling and why we’re feeling it, Emotional Self-Management: handling your emotional distress effectively so it doesn’t get in the way but rather you learn from the experience, Empathy: being able to feel what someone else is feeling and having better relationships with others, Social Skills: how well we handle ourselves, our relationships. Benefits: Antisocial behavior decreases, prosocial behavior increases, and academic achievements increase.
