Event description
Think. Collaborate. Belong. Come and see where Primary Ethics is in 2019! Some backward glances, some future glimpses. Please join us!

About this Event

As we prepare to celebrate our tenth year, we take a look at what Primary Ethics - with our dedicated band of volunteers and supporters - has achieved. We'll focus on the skills we use to build capacity in our students and how we engage with our local communities. And we'll have many opportunities to meet other volunteers and friends of Primary Ethics at Western Sydney University's campus (Parramatta South) at Rydalmere. In the break you may wish to explore the historical elements of this site on the Parramatta River. Lunch is provided so gather a group for an intelligent, informative and interesting day.

I am delighted to confirm that Ms Verity Firth, Executive Director, Social Justice at UTS will be the keynote speaker.

And, as we enter our tenth year, we look back to see the difference ethics classes make to an individual, in a Montessori school and to you, our wonderful volunteers and supporters! View the program here.

Our curriculum author Dr Sue Knight is back to help us deepen our understanding of the philosophy behind ethics classes. You’ll have the chance to meet other volunteers and friends and share in Primary Ethics developments.

You're welcome to bring friends or family members who have an interest in Primary Ethics but are not current volunteers.

There is an option to view the Adam Goodes documentary “The Final Quarter” in the afternoon alongside the volunteering breakout sessions that general supporters may wish to attend.
