Description

*THIS EVENT HAS REACHED FULL CAPACITY. DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND, A SECOND EVENT WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR THE LATTER HALF OF 2018*

Heart rhythm disorders are diagnosed in 1 in 4 Australians over the age of 40 through their lifetime. This growing problem leads to poor health outcomes, reduced quality of life and a higher risk of stroke and heart failure. The Centre for Heart Rhythm Disorders, led by Professor Prash Sanders, is an world-leading research group based in Adelaide that focusses on establishing the cause of these heart problems and how they can be effectively treated. In this event, members of our research team will provide insight into our research that is leading to improvements in the prevention and treatment of common heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation (AF).
