PRESS PLAY - Kids' Silent Disco

Kick off an unforgettable weekend at the Multi-Arts Pavilion mima (MAP mima) with the Silent Kids’ Disco, part of our vibrant Press Play program. This family-friendly celebration is the perfect way to start a weekend of art activities and games, packed with music, art, and fun for all ages.

The Cube will be transformed into a vibrant disco space, with immersive projections that shift, pulse, and swirl in rhythm with the music, creating an energetic atmosphere.

Children will be provided with special wireless headphones, designed for any age with safe adjustable volume. Join us for a high energy dance party without the noise!

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Suitable for ages 5 - 12 years.

MAP mima is located in Speers Point Park, off Park Street, on the edge of Lake Macquarie. MAP mima is accessible by ramp with accessible toilets. MAP can be reached easily from the lake foreshore cycleway, the water, or by public transport. There is plenty of parking for cars, and buses with accessible spaces available, onsite and in the surrounding parklands.
