This is a Designing for learning with technology workshop presented by Learning Environments open to University of Melbourne staff only.

About this event

Explore and apply the skills behind presenting to camera effectively and engagingly.

In this interactive workshop learn how to better present using a webcam for sessions like online lectures and tutorials. We will look at practical tips for setting up your environment and communicating through the camera to ensure your content is delivered in the best possible way.

This is a foundation level workshop with no prior experience necessary.

  • Presenter:

    Andy Balloch

    Andy is an improviser, corporate workshop facilitator, MC, performer, and writer.

    Having studied a Bachelor of Teaching (secondary)/Bachelor of Arts, with a focus on Drama and Linguistics, Andy has also graduated from The iO Theatre (Chicago), The Improv Conspiracy (Melbourne), and has written and implemented improv curriculums from introductory to advanced levels at Laugh Masters’ Academy and RMIT University.

    With so much of his experience being focussed on the ways in which we listen, communicate and collaborate, Andy’s corporate workshops focus primarily on exactly these elements in a fun, engaging, and effective way.
