Event description

Description

The University of Western Australia invites academic staff and postgraduate students from all Perth tertiary institutions to this seminar about Canadian Government funded research opportunities.

In particular, this seminar will cover funding available from Canada’s three major federal research councils – the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).

The High Commission of Canada will also provide information on the prestigious Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships Program and Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships, and other grants offered by some of the provinces, as well as other non-government organizations.

The map location of the Gentilli Lecture Theatre can be found here.

Please RSVP by 27 April 2018.
