Preparing for Parliament Prize

Our annual Parliament Prize competition will be opening in May again this year. In preparation, we're running a free, 75 minute professional development session, where we will take a closer look at the Parliament Prize competition, including Members' Statements, the entry form and most importantly, tools and techniques for including Parliament Prize into the classroom. There will also be plenty of time to have all your questions answered.

The event is suitable for teachers of Grades 5 & 6 and Years 7 to 12 civics and citizenship related subjects and English, but teachers of any year level or subject are welcome to join us.

Attendees will receive a professional development certificate as well as a suite of Parliament Prize classroom resources.
