Preparing for a winter harvest
Help us celebrate Urban Agriculture Month, running this April, by growing your own veggie crop and joining the urban agriculture movement.
In this popular online webinar, our expert Richard Rowe from Sustainable Gardening Australia (SGA), will show you how to prepare your garden for a bumper winter harvest. You will learn about:
• Garden maintenance
• Soil preparation
• Veggies in pots
• Sustainable ways to improve productivity – crop rotation and companion planting
• Starting with seeds or seedlings
• Managing pests while avoiding harsh chemicals
• Winter vegetable options.
