Event description

Description

What’s university life all about? What does it take to succeed at university? Find out for yourself and get a taster of uni life in our two day workshop!

Have fun, make friends, and get a head start on #winning at university. You’ll take part in mock tutorials, learn how to do research and write in university style, and spend quality time with other students keen to start university too.

You’ll explore the culture of a university through Social Anthropology, which involves studying the ways people live and behave in different cultural settings across the world – including here at university. Social Anthropology uses empirical methods to investigate the human experience and looks at the different ways people ‘do’ and understand things such as education, politics, sports, gender, violence, marriage, art, science and more.

Cost: $75.00

Please note: Participants will be contacted prior to the commencement of the event to provide payment details via an online form.
