Sound Awareness concept emerged from a series of philosophical & musical conversations over coffees with master musician Bruce Mathiske and Adam Manning. The idea behind sound awareness is to create a musical collaborative album with prominent artists - with all CD funds going to the purchase of Instruments for schools in areas that do not have a budget for musical equipment. Accompanying the purchased instruments, Bruce and Adam will provide a series of free master classes. The overarching goal of Sound Awareness is to create beautiful music and provide a musical experience for those less fortunate – in hope, they might experience the love and joy that both Bruce and Adam have experienced.
