Our speakers:

Tom Cronin - Speaker ♦️ Leadership Coach ♦️ Meditation Teacher 👉 Reduce stress

Running a business and leading a team can be stressful. After a while, it can take its toll leaving many business leaders stress-out, anxious and in many instances losing their path - your true identity and purpose. After a very successful 26-year career in finance as a broker for the world’s largest broking house ICAP PLC, I decided it was time to pursue my mission of helping individuals and companies reach the optimal potential by removing stress from their lives through meditation and coaching. After embracing meditation as a stress management tool early into my career, I began to experience a profound shift in my performance and overall wellbeing. This led me to pursue teacher training, which I completed in 2009 after studying in Australia, Bali and India. Since 2009 I have trained and coached thousands of people all over the world how to meditate, break through blocks and transform their lives. I've spoken on stages in front of hundreds of people in Mexico, Bali, USA, Australia and Kuala Lumpur. PLUS presented at top-level companies in Australia, from Nova Fm, CBA, Qantas, Coca Cola and Fairfax Media.

Joel Curtis - High Performance Coach and Psychologist

Joel Curtis has been working as a psychologist since 1999. He holds a Masters degree in Sport Psychology from Western Sydney University. Joel owns 2 private practices in Sydney at Miranda and Blacktown called Endeavour Wellness. As a psychologist Joel is passionate about helping people to get what they need from their lives. Joel Curtis is a Sport and Business Psychologist who works with coaches, athletes, business owners and organisations to assist in improving performances. Joel tailor's his approach to fit the individual needs of the people he is working with. There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to performance coaching. Joel work's with his clients over a sustained period of time. The best results come from building rapport and gaining understanding of the individual needs of each client. Joel aims to help people understand that they don't need to be anyone other than who they are. Real happiness is achieved when people learn to be the best they can be, not what others want them to be.

Robert Crowe - Strategy and Leadership Coach

I guide organisations, executives and boards to undergo a positive transition that impacts their ability to steer the organisation to achieve its purpose. I have a strong understanding of working across all areas of an organisation, from the front line to the boardroom. Before starting my own consultancy, I held senior management positions in operations, sales and marketing, and business unit change projects. My current work with For Purpose boards involves evaluation, strategy development, capability building, complex problem solving and mentoring.

My key areas of strength include understanding complex frameworks, applying compliance requirements to operational systems and developing communication and reporting channels for boards and executives.

David Burroughs - Chief Mental Health Officer at Westpac

I have worked as a psychologist across community, military and workplace mental health for almost 20 years. My speciality has been operating at the nexus of clinical and organisational psychology to help design, implement and evaluate strategies to support positive workplace mental health and proactively manage mental ill-health. My career has given me incredible opportunities to develop my knowledge and capabilities through working and collaborating with international thought leaders in workplace mental health. I have been lucky enough to partner with leading organisations across many sectors to help develop, review, refine, implement and evaluate psychosocial/systems based approaches to workplace mental health that have improved the lives of tens of thousands of people, improved workplace culture and productivity levels, and led to significant business performance outcomes across dozens of organisations.

In 2004 I established one of Australia’s first firms specialising in the early intervention and prevention of workplace mental-ill health, which was then sold in 2016. Outside of my role with Westpac, my time is now spent on advisory, speaking and strategy services, as well as exploring my interests in behavioural ethics, men’s mental health, risk mitigation, business commercialisation and mentoring, and helping support efforts to develop positive mental health capabilities and address mental health needs at a societal level. I am committed to improving mental health outcomes through increasing provider accountability and to helping turn great mental health research into practical and accessible mental health practice.
