Description

This course will cover the language essentials and cultural practices to allow professionals to conduct and build successful Chinese business.

The course is designed to be practical, with relevant up-to-date content and keywords/phrases presented and reinforced with engaging activities, allowing professionals and language learners alike to pick up and use the knowledge and training on their next flight to China.

Each class is accompanied with note hand-outs and downloadable digital content to equip and expand your Chinese language and business capabilities. Each class will be two hours long, the first hour will talking about topics that are very much related to doing business with China, the second hour of the class will be language essentials and the words that have been talked about in the first half of the class.

The topics of this class will include: key facts about China, cultural concepts, social norms and etiquette, visiting China, culture in practice, education systems and philosophy, the Chinese government system and doing business with China.

Each class is different, we highly suggest you come to every class to get the full knowledge of the language essentials and all the information, but come to individual class will bring you benefits as well.

  3. Week 3: Dining keywords | Conducting business with different cultural groups.

  4. Week 4: Travel | Directions.

  5. Week 5: Emergencies | Natural disasters protocol.

  6. Week 6: Chinese business tools | Social Media.

  7. Week 7: Government Administrations | Governance structure.

  8. Week 8: Relationship building | Hobbies & Interests.

  9. Week 9: Business superstitions | Proverbs.

  10. Week 10: Review | Putting it all together.
