About this Event

The Power, Status and Influence (PSI) Network Conference will be held for the first time in Australia in 2020 and showcase world renowned academics, thought leaders and practitioners in the field of social hierarchy.

Taking place over two and a half days, the program includes an optional half-day Teaching Pre-conference on Saturday 21 March and 2-day academic program starting on Sunday 22 March.

On Monday 23 March the Monday program opens to industry practitioners for the first time at a PSI Network Conference. This Collaborative Program is open to members of Melbourne's business community, who are invited to and take part in panel discussions with renowned academics and practitioners on important topics affecting business today:

  • From boardrooms to situation rooms: Safeguarding against inequality & destructive power
  • “Ignorance is bliss”: Governance failures in ethical oversight

You are invited to the collaborative program on Monday 23 March including a VIP sit-down lunch with key experts from the PSI Network. This sit-down lunch will give you exclusive access to expert academics and the chance to ask questions and discuss the current state of affairs in social hierarchy research and implications for the world.
