About this event
Psychology for a Safe Climate will hold a facilitated conversational space for people to gather and share experiences and feelings in response to the federal election and climate change.
There will be no guest speaker, no advice given, no call for action. Instead, you’ll find a supportive space to voice feelings that may not be welcomed or echoed elsewhere in your daily life. You’re invited to share with interested others how you’re really feeling at this challenging time. Whatever you’re feeling is okay and valued.
We will take time in smaller groups in breakout rooms for in-depth conversation, as well as some time in the larger group to honour the work that people are doing on this issue. We hope this will be a restorative place to gather and 'land' following the federal election.
This event is being offered by donation as PSC is passionate about supporting people, especially those working hard for climate action in Australia, to look after themselves and each other. PSC is a majority volunteer organisation - please consider donating generously, it's through donations from people like you that we are able to continue this work.
