Description

Dear Parents (Please note this event is welcome to all parents please)

On the 9th November at the College Trinity Fathers for Others is very proud to be hosting a special event at which one of our own Trinity fathers, Magistrate Colin Kaeser will provide a presentation on Positive Engagement with your Kids and Building Respect

In his presentation, Colin would talk about his work at the family court – with some stats and case examples – to give a flavour of his experience there. Then he will highlight the effect of positive parenting and engaging with your kids and perhaps touch on the potential downsides if we don’t.
Colin is a Family Law Magistrate. He is also a White Ribbon Ambassador and the Secretary of the Management Committee of the Waratah Support Centre in Bunbury. Colin is an old boy of Trinity (lifer) and has 2 boys at the school – with a 3rd joining in 2019.

Colin started off his tertiary education with an Honours degree in Psychology. He was admitted to practice law in 1994, and has practised almost exclusively in family law ever since. He is an experienced mediator and arbitrator. He joined the Family Court in 2005 as a Registrar; was appointed an acting Magistrate in 2010, and received a permanent appointment as a Family Law Magistrate in 2014.

Colin is passionate about building respectful relationships, managing conflict and resolving disputes.

If you are keen to attend this very special event please book tickets

It is expected the event will begin at 7pm and should be no longer than an hour at the conclusion of Colin’s presentation, Trinity Fathers for Others welcome you to enjoy some light refreshments
