Positive Birth and Parenting Workshop (Online) Sunday consists of 2 sessions held on consecutive Sundays. Each session runs for 6 hours and includes a lunch break.

Due to COVID19 restrictions and NSW health advice this class will now run via zoom only. There will be no face to face classes.

Please do not present to Westmead Hospital as you will be turned away.

If you attend this program you are entitled to attend a breastfeeding workshop free.

Westmead Hospital positive birth and parenting workshop is a unique childbirth preparation program that brings together only evidence-based techniques and practices. The techniques that you learn for your birth in this course are supported by research.

The workshop starts online promptly at 9 am. Please arrive online at 8.45 am for registration so the day can begin on time.

YOU MUST BE BIRTHING YOUR BABY AT WESTMEAD HOSPITAL TO RECEIVE A DISCOUNTED FEE. ALL WOMEN BOOKED TO BIRTH THEIR BABY AT ANOTHER HOSPITAL MUST PAY THE FULL FEE.

It is recommended to book this workshop if you are due between the 27th March to 29th May 2022

The cost of the Sunday Workshop also includes a free registration to the Antenatal Breastfeeding Workshop You will be required to insert your Sunday workshop booking number to get the free registration.

FAQ'S

Do I bring my partner along to all the classes with me?​ Partners are encouraged to attend online with you. If your partner can't make it on the day then you can bring along another support person to attend online with you.

What can/can't I bring to the event? You may like to bring a snack. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

 Is my registration/ticket transferrable? No

Can I update my registration information? Yes, you can return to the booking page to do so.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. You can print out or save on the Eventbrite app if you wish.

What is the refund policy?

A full refund may be given only in the following circumstances:

• Premature birth
• Hospital admission
• Cancellation request 3 weeks prior to the class commencement date

If less than three weeks’ notice will incur a fee of $30.00. NO REFUND will be given for cancellation requests less than three days before a class commences. NO REFUND will be given for change of mind after the program has commenced.

Private Health Fund rebates are available. A certificate is issued on request.
