Positive Behaviour Support Implementation Seminar
This full-day professional seminar focuses on strengthening and supporting effective positive behaviour support implementation. Co-hosted by Specialist Behaviour and the Complex Behaviour Community of Practice, the day features six 1-hour sessions from a variety of experienced PBS practitioners and leaders. Learn from experienced practice leaders , and gain valuable insights on how to effectively implement positive behaviour support strategies for meaningful and sustainable quality of life improvement.

When: Friday, 13th February, 2026
Time: 9am-5:00 pm (registration from 08:30) with optional social after-gathering

- "How to achieve effective and ethical PBS implementation with limited available resources"- Jenn Colechin (1 CEU, Ethics)
- "Enhancing Ethical, Evidence-Based Practice in Behavioural and Medical Contexts: Reducing Restrictive Practices Through Collaborative, Data-Driven Intervention"- Ross Leighner (1 CEU)
- "Collaboration and professional presentation across various PBS sectors and settings- Do you know what you (and others) don’t know about PBS?"- Dr. Brent Hayward (1 CEU)
- "Creating genuine connection and supportive relationships"- Niall Hewitt (1 CEU)
Tickets: All efforts have been made to keep ticket prices as low as possible. There are a limited number of discounted tickets available for current members of the Complex Behaviour Community of Practice. A code has been emailed to CoP members to claim a discounted ticket. Please note: once allocation of discounted CoP tickets is exhaused, all remaining sales will be at the full non-member price.
