Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum (KS:CPC)

The KS:CPC is a comprehensive child safety and respectful relationships curriculum for children and young people age 3 to year 12.

In South Australia, the KS:CPC is mandated in all Department for Education and Catholic Education sites and is used in independent schools.

Educators that deliver the KS:CPC to children and young people must complete the full day Educator course.

The KS:CPC training is only available to educators from the following approved organisations:

  • Department for Education
  • Catholic Education South Australia
  • Association of Independent Schools of SA
  • Pre-service teachers enrolled at Flinders University, University of Adelaide, University of South Australia or Tabor College
  • Community Children’s Centres South Australia
  • Gawler Riverside Early Learning Centre
  • Goodstart Early Learning Centres South Australia
  • Green Leaves Early Learning Centres South Australia
  • Littlehampton ELC
  • Lutheran Education SNW (South Australia only)
  • Ranges Early Learning Centre & Infant Toddler Centre
  • SA Montessori Preschools
  • Wendy’s Early Learning Centres South Australia
