TRACK NOTES: 15- 18 kms May vary due to the variety of paths that can be explored whilst hiking through the Point Nepean Park.
From the Portsea Back Beach we will follow the bush track through to London Bridge and then head towards the Point Nepean Park via Wilsons Folly Walking Track. Once in the park we will explore the historic area and visit Pearce Barracks, Fort Nepean, Gunners Cottage and visit a few of the high points to see some spectacular views. There are toilets within the Park.
We will make our way back to the Portsea Back Beach, ideally via a stroll along the back beach (tide and time depending).

GETTING THERE: Portsea is at the end of the Mornington Peninsula, 90 kms from Melbourne. From the small township of Portsea follow the Back Beach road for approximately 2 kms to the lower car park of the Portsea Back Beach/Surf Club.
BRING: Water, lunch, snacks, lunch and a jacket in case of rain and comfortable shoes (boots not required).
