About this Event
Playgroup in the Park is a relaxed gathering of families from our West Ryde/ Meadowbank community that is held at Lions Park West Ryde during Term 1 2020. It has been organised by the Family Educator from St Michael's Catholic Primary School Meadowbank to help build community and connection in a way that is covid safe.

What can I expect?
To comply with current NSW public health restrictions, this event is open to a maximum of 50 participants (adults and children), all who must have tickets. There is no entry fee.
Each session there will be a rotation of toys, basic craft materials and play equipment for your children to use along with the playground equipment. We will also provide flask coffee/ tea for adults. We conclude the session with a story and parachute games.

What should I bring?
Please remember to bring a hat, picnic rug, sunscreen, water and snacks for you and your child. Please also bring your own hand sanitiser (some will be provided).
Do I need to be a part of the St. Michael's Meadowbank school to attend?
No. This event is open to all families, regardless of whether you attend our school or church. You are very welcome :)
How will the event be covid safe?
To ensure this event is covid safe, we require the following conditions of participation.
* Please do not attend if you are unwell or displaying any of the following symptoms: fever, sore throat, cough, tiredness, difficulty breathing, loss of smell or taste, or have visited a covid hotspot in the last 14 days, or are waiting covid test results. Anyone with symptoms should have COVID-19 testing and clearance provided before attending this event.
* Please be vigilant and maintain social distancing of 1.5 metres at all times- especially between adults attending the event. You may wish to wear a mask.
* we will provide anti-bacterial wipes at each play station. Please help us wipe down the toys/ equipment after your child has finished using them and also use the hand sanitiser provided.
* if you would like to make a gold coin donation to help offset our costs for coffee/ tea and craft supplies, we would be grateful!
