Playgrounds is Australia’s conference dedicated to Swift and Apple platform developers

Our aim is simple - to bring in the brightest and influential members of the Swift and Apple development community to Australian shores to discuss ideas, share in knowledge and make long lasting relationships all within an inclusive environment.

If you love writing Swift or developing on one of Apple's many platforms, then Playgrounds is for you.

Matt Comi

Matt is an independent iOS developer based in Perth. He's the creator of the highly acclaimed iOS games The Incident and Space Age. In 2011, The Incident was included on iPhone devices in Apple Store worldwide and in 2014, Space Age was awarded Editor's Choice. When he's not making games, Matt enjoys cooking and making cocktails, usually Negronis.

Chris Eidhof

Chris is one of the objc.io co-founders, and host of Swift Talk. He also wrote a book about Functional Swift. Before, he wrote apps such as Deckset and Scenery.

Greg Heo

Ayaka Nonaka

Felix Krause

Felix is the creator of fastlane, an open source toolchain for automating all your iOS development tasks. He recently joined Twitter where he now works full-time on open source tooling for iOS developers. Before that Felix worked at various startups in Europe and in the U.S. where he started his first steps into automating the building and submission process.

Hector Mathos

Raised by llamas in the great state of Texas, Hector grew to be an avid couch potato who likes spending his precious couch time playing the Legend of Zelda or yelling at the TV whilst watching Game of Thrones.
