Event description

Description

For Plastic Free July, Transition Town Guildford thought they'd do something a little bit different this year. We're going back to simpler times when television, the Internet and single-use disposable plastics didn't exist!

We're going back to a time when people got together (face to face) and played board games and cards. We're going old school and we hope you'll join us!

What to bring:

Your favourite board games and/or card games

A plastic free snack to share

What's a plastic free snack?

A plastic free snack is basically anything you make using raw ingredients that doesn't come in single-use disposable plastic (e.g. avoid bringing a packet of chips or Tim Tams!). Some examples of plastic free snacks include veggie sticks and a homemade dip, some homemade sausage rolls, a cake, etc.

If you can, bring your snacks in a reusable container.

Remember, we're going back to simpler times and gladwrap wasn't around in those days!

Cost: Free, but please RSVP so we have an idea of numbers.
