Event Information
About this Event
In this free workshop, participants will learn how to reduce and avoid plastic use wherever you can, and how to take action to reduce your use of single use plastic.
We will have examples of plastic-free alternative products or methods that you can use in place of plastic in your kitchen, bathroom and laundry such as plastic-free bin liners, cling wrap, straws, drink bottles, coffee cups, straws, produce bags, personal care & cleaning products, toothbrushes and so much more.
We'll also give you information on where to find plastic-free alternatives.
You'll also learn how to recycle soft plastics through the REDcycle program, and what can be recycled at your Community Recycling Centre.
